About Visual Authority

Welcome to Visual Authority, where you can creatively market your company in any type of media and on any platform. After serving my country with distinction in active duty, I returned to civilian life as a reservist, but I have always applied the lessons I learned in the Army into my everyday life.

I jumped into the Marketing industry with both feet, opening a printing company in 1992.& Unfortunately that business did not survive a recall to active duty where I was sent abroad to fight for my country.

After I returned from my first tour of duty abroad, I decided to run for office. I had always been politically active, so I took my knowledge of print marketing and mailing to work, ran a tight grass roots campaign and won! I became a member of the State of Michigan House of Representatives.

As the years have passed on, I became term limited in the House of Representatives, at which point I continued to run for other positions in government as well as helping other candidates run their campaigns. This is where I learned how to manage a larger campaign, and how to buy media from radio and television outlets.

The marketing and advertising industry is a tough business, with new services developing everyday, it takes strong willed operators with years of experience in the industry to achieve success. Running a business and managing your marketing strategy can be an overwhelming feat, it is even possible to save money by hiring an outside company with expertise in marketing to help you with your strategy.

I saw an opening in the market that needed to be filled and I knew I had the skill sets, the military discipline and experience to get the job done. That is how Visual Authority started and it continues to offer marketing support services to companies and political campaigns to this day.
